Day 1 Jumpstart – We’re going to JUMPSTART your health journey to a whole new level.

You might be an athletic type or you might have been the more sedentary kind of woman. You might have a job that causes you to sit more than you’d like or you may have simply not been motivated to get much movement into your day.

You also might have been following Jesus for years or not know a whole lot about Him.

So no matter where you’re at with your fitness or where you’re at with your faith, you are completely welcome here. You’re definitely in the right place.

I grew up in a wonderful Christian home and although I had heard about Jesus all my life, I had difficulty learning how to authentically walk with Him. It wasn’t until I was well into my adult life and the struggles began, that I truly learned the reality of what a deep personal relationship with Jesus could be.

I hope that through working out with me you’ll have an experience with Jesus that will transform your life forever. 

First, we’re going to look at the advantages of aging backward.

Aging Backward can happen in two ways. Physically and spiritually. You might think that aging backward has to do with looking younger and younger. We place way too much emphasis on the outward appearance.

No one wants to prematurely age and look and feel ten or twenty years older than whatever age you’re at. If you’re 20, you don’t want to look fourty. Everyone wants to look younger!

Some ladies might look physically younger but others might start feeling great from the inside out no matter what the outward appearance reflects. 

There is something wonderful about every age. Unfortunately, women are continually fed the reasons (and products) to stay and look youthful. Being younger is IN, but what if one day you wake up and find that you’re now ‘older?’

We need to STOP dreading adding more candles to our cake and start being grateful to God for each new day.

The thing you should avoid is premature aging. It’s a sign that something is not balanced in your body.

Issues that age you:

  • Stress!
  • Too little exercise!
  • Poor diet!
  • Sleeplessness!
  • Improper hydration!
  • Not enough fresh air!
  • Lack of sunshine!

When these things are out of balance in your life, a buildup of toxic wastes is produced in your body. This accelerates the aging process.

Every decade has something good about it. Through these workouts and faith-based devotionals, I want to teach you how to live your life to the full with grace.

I want you to live your current decade by aging backward. Living youthfully for God’s glory. 

To have a long and fulfilling life requires you to have good health, and abundance (not wealth) but a life that includes the attitudes of love, peace, and joy.

If you are living half-decayed, decrepit, and diseased, you won’t be able to enjoy each day as the Lord gives them. 

I want you to live strong, with vitality, serving others and bringing Jesus and blessings to all those around you.

How about if through these workouts you are energized to be more constructive, productive, contributing, healthy, youthful, attractive, and alive?

It doesn’t mean you turn up with a beautiful slim body at fifty but it might mean that your life becomes a little more vibrant and energized than your yesterday. 

The alternative is the possibility that you’ll become sickly, old, repulsive with negativity, and be living half-dead. This isn’t the way God wants you to live.

It’s not the size or beauty of your body. Whatever size you are, you can become ‘your’ healthier version as you live out God’s best for YOU!

So how do you age backward spiritually? When you are spiritually aligned with Jesus, it will be reflected in your countenance. 

Even if you are faithful in the time you spend with Jesus, you probably (if you’re like me) could always go deeper in how you are more and more aware of His presence.

When you don’t slow down to feel His presence, you don’t reap the blessings of knowing Him as you could. There is always room for growth.

That is one of the things that you will be learning along with me in this program. 

When I workout, it is a way of relaxing and destressing all the heavy thoughts and burdens I might have woken up with. Especially during the most difficult years of my life.

When you get yourself back into balance with Jesus it will age you backward as you combine it with daily workouts. As you learn to unwind and relax it will release the Joy of Jesus in you that others will see reflected through you. 

I’ll be sharing more each day as we learn to live a grace-filled life through working out with Jesus.

Our days are numbered. God knows the number for you and me. What if you lived each day with vitality and the energy to do all that He has called you to do?
